I usually plan my weekly meals on the weekends so I thought I would share them here. I know everyone does Menu Monday, but I’m not everyone – I like going to the beat of my own drum. I’m not going to put days, but I’ll have the 5 meals I plan to make that week. One day a week I usually order out or Chad cooks so I don’t worry about it and one day it’s leftovers for us or a Vi shake for me. With that said, until I start creating recipes of my own, I’ll be linking to the recipes I am using so if you wanted to try them, you can. Let’s jump in!
Weekly Meal Plan
Low Carb Ravioli I love ravioli, it is just so tasty! With this recipe she shows you how to make raw marinara sauce but I just use regular spaghetti sauce because I like how it tastes.
Marinated Steak & Pepper Rolls – I have never had this one before but it looks freaken awesome! I love steak and I love peppers plus the kids absolutely love steak too. We might have to do something with the peppers, because if they look like a pepper my 4 year old son won’t eat them. If you have any tips on how to “hide” those, please share!
Slow Cooker Apricot Salsa Chicken – I haven’t tried this one yet, but it looks soooo yummy and I’m all about chicken and yummy! What I love the most about this one is that there’s only 4 ingredients (not including any seasonings I will add) and I love the simplicity of it. Plus I’m kind of a slow cooker snob (Chad’s words LOL).
Almond Chicken – This is a staple in our house. We probably have this and slow cooker regular salsa chicken at least 4 or 5 times a month. The kids absolutely love it, Chad and I both are in love with them and its so easy to make!
Baked Broccoli Mac & Cheese – The first time we had this was at Thanksgiving last year and it was delicious! We have had it numerous times since them. My 3 year old loves helping me make it. She loves watching the cheese melt and then “helping” me pour it over the noodles and broccoli. One suggestion I have is to add a little more broccoli, I like the taste better and sometimes we had onions too. When we make this we usually have chicken or pork chops to go with it. Probably chicken since I’ll have to buy it for the almond chicken I’m making too.
Stay tuned for my Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken recipe next week!
